Hathras case: Key points of UP's affidavit in SC

The UP govt on Tuesday filed an affidavit in the SC, urging the apex court to monitor a CBI probe into the alleged gang-rape and murder of a girl in Hathras. The state govt, in its affidavit, also explained in detail the investigation carried out by it in the case so far. It alleged that "vested Interests" are attempting to ascribe motive to derail a fair probe.
